The Choctaw Nation is hosting a "Denim Day" event from 11AM-3:00PM at the Wheelock Academy Historic Site in Millerton, OK (Approximately 9 miles East of Valliant, OK then North on HWY 70 at Wheelock Road). Attendees are encouraged to wear jeans to protest the misconceptions surrounding sexual violence. The event will feature speakers, an awareness walk, information booths, and cultural activities.
